The Struggle of Biome Purification

Trying to get the "And Good Riddance!" achievement or making the Dryad NPC happy can be extremely difficult. Even a single block of Crimson or Corruption hidden deep in the underworld can slowly spread and re-infect your entire world. Using the map editor, you can purify your world in a fraction of the time it takes using Clentaminator.

Step 1: Inspect Biome Infection Statistics

  1. Load your world into Terraworld Editor.
  2. Open the **Data** dropdown and click **World Analysis** or use the analytics widget.
  3. Look at the **Biome Breakdown** section. It will display the exact percentage of Crimson, Corruption, Hallow, and Pure blocks. It also shows you the total block count for each.

Step 2: Locate Infected Blocks

To find where the evil blocks are hiding:

  1. Go to the **Search Panel** and click on the preset filters for **Crimson/Corruption**.
  2. This will scan the map and highlight infected blocks (such as Ebonstone, Crimstone, Ebonsand, Purple Ice, etc.).
  3. Zoom in on the highlighted areas to see exactly where they are situated, especially at the edges of the map or deep underground.

Step 3: Using the Brush Tool to Purify

We provide a dedicated edit brush to make tile replacement extremely fast:

  1. Click on the **Edit Mode** button to open the editor tools panel.
  2. Select the **Brush** tool. Adjust its size to cover a wide area (e.g., 20x20 or 50x50 tiles).
  3. Set the **Mode** to *Replace Tile*.
  4. In the *Target Tile* dropdown, select the infected block (e.g., Ebonstone). In the *Replacement Tile* dropdown, select the pure equivalent (e.g., Stone Block).
  5. Click and drag on the map over the infected zones. The editor will swap all matching blocks instantly!
  6. Repeat this for grass (Ebongrass -> Grass) and sand (Ebonsand -> Sand).

Step 4: Save the Purified World

Click on **Data -> Save Changes** to download the updated world file. Overwrite your local save and ask the Dryad in-game. You will now get your 100% pure world status!
